The Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye announces that Turkish authorities will start the requirement of "Electronic Airport Transit Visa" (e-ATV) for Indian/Nepalese passport holders traveling toMexico, Panama, Colombia and Venezuela transitting via İstanbul Airport.

Indian/Nepalese passport holders who are subject to the requirement of e-ATV can get their e-ATV via the website"evisa.gov.tr" starting from 15 April 2024 free of charge as per the current practice.

Above-mentioned Indian/Nepalese passangers should carry the print-out of their electronic airport transit visas along during their travel since it should be checkedby the relative airlines/service providers at the departure airports in accordance with international aviation rules and by Turkish authoritiesat the visa points of transit passanger arrival area in İstanbul Airport.
